Automotive OEMs are now requesting greenhouse gas (GHG) data from their Tier 1 suppliers for scope 1 and scope 2 emissions sources:
	Scope 1: Direct GHG Emissions - includes all GHG emissions from sources that are owned or controlled by the company (boilers, furnaces, process equipment, vehicles & other transportation)
	Scope 2: Electricity Indirect Emissions - accounts for GHG emissions from purchased electricity (emissions physically occur at the facility where electricity is generated)
