GreenSoft wins SMT VISION Award

The 18th annual SMT VISION Awards were announced at the 2010 IPC APEX EXPO in Las Vegas. IPC APEX is a yearly trade show and conference for the PCB and electronics manufacturing industry. SMT (short for surface mount technology) is a magazine and web portal serving the printed circuit board (PCB) industry. The awards were presented on April 5, 2010.

SMT VISION Awards were presented in eighteen categories, including adhesives/coatings, assembly tools, cleaning equipment, cleaning materials, design software, device programming, dispensing equipment, inspection, manufacturing/design services, packaging, pick-and-place, printing, process control, rework/repair, soldering equipment, solder materials, and testing.

GreenSoft Technologies won the SMT VISION Award in Design Software for GreenData Manager-REACH. GDM-REACH is offered in both the Desktop Edition for single users and the Workgroup Edition for multiple users, with the database (MS SQL Express or SQL Server) located at the user's site.

Per SMT, the VISION Award recognizes the people and products that serve as benchmarks of excellence within the industry:
	Judgment criteria include innovation, cost-effectiveness, speed & throughtput improvements, quality, ease of use, maintainability & repairability, and environmental responsibility
